I always leave the cello on. IT protects the cigar from skin oils and abrasions from being moved within the humidor. Some may say this isnt necessary but I have a couple older sticks over 4 years old and no cello on them and the wrappers definitely are showing the wear and tear on them. This is excellent advise!

If the manufacture didn't want them stored without the cello, they would not have put it on the cigars in the first place. Storing the cigars with the cello on ,as intended, is the right way to go.
