DRY BOX
A dry box is typically an old cigar box, travel cigar holder, or small humi with no humidification at all. The purpose of a dry box is to dry out "wet" cigars that may be too moist to smoke right out of the humidor. Dry boxes are more common if one keeps their humidor at 65% RH or higher. Cigars typically spend 12-48 hours in a dry box before smoking to improve the cigars tightness and draw.
