If you have more of those Obsidian's, let them sit for at least a year and then revisit them!
You'll be asking if it's the same cigar.
As stated above, wrapper color does not equate to strength.

Tru Dat! And draw slow. The black banded Obsidian (only one I've tried - the white banded one looks too much like a tampon/applicator to me) seems to overheat and taste resinous if you draw hard. However, with a nice slow draw it reminds me of smoking Bob's Chocolate Flake (minus the Lakeland soap)
Yep, I like the Obsidian and IMO they're a steal for the price. I don't know what they're like fresh since I don't smoke very often so most of my stash has been sitting around for quite a while before I get to it.
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
