I honestly don't think the tobacco leaves have much to do with smoke production so much as the proper rolling technique does. By crafting a perfect roll, the tobacco is evenly distributed, the pack isn't too tight, and the draw is perfect. Makes for that perfect air to combustion balance that creates that nice mouth-feel and big billows of smoke. Proper RH and all that boring storage stuff maters a lot too

The leaf I was talking about is all about the proper age and flavor.
