I'm not really a fan of using the Perfectdraw or any tool to open the draw of a cigar. Too many bad results.

What I do instead, is pinch and roll. Sometimes, even a higher compression roll using my palm.

Haven't dryboxed, but plan on doing it soon. Just need to research the cigars I've had trouble with, because I think it may be certain regions or brands that need it.

Yeah, it's easy to get crooked and punch out the side. That's why I have a leaf in a ziploc with a 69% Boveda to keep it nice and pliable that I use for patches with a little cigar glue.

I also do the pinch and roll on the first few inches after smoking for a bit so it's nice and soft, otherwise you crack the hell out of the wrapper. Unfortunately, these are Churchills, and it's not just a plug or small area that's too tight. They are tight and hard the entire length.

Really not sure what else to try on it to attempt to salvage it, plus, I may need a method that works again as I have a bad feeling most of this box at least is going to be the same since its been 2 for 2.

I should have stuck with the Gordos I usually buy of these. Never had a problem with them. Just wanted to try something different and got bit in the ass for it most likely.

Oh well, they weren't expensive (NicaRomas) so I won't cry too hard if the whole box is bad, just disappointed as I have always enjoyed the NicaRoma Gordo quite a bit.

    I friggin love cigars
