Eclipse

This is not my photo, but was taken by a friend of a friend just a few miles from where I live.

Quite amazing, really.
The sun’s diameter is 400 times the diameter of the moon, and the moon “happens” to be 400 times closer to earth so that the apparent sizes are nearly identical, allowing for our eclipse.

A near impossible probability.
Coincidence? I think not.

I just learned this Monday while reading about the eclipse.
