First experience with tubos

Hmmm never had that happen to me before. Have you tried any of the remaining tubos to see if the rest are in the same predicament?

I haven't had any of the other ones yet. I think I may just end up pulling them all out of the tubes. I only had 10, would hate to waste another on another bad experience, if it does turn out to be the tubo not letting it breathe.

I always keep the cap off on tubos when i am storing them. some people say they can still "breath" with the caps on while others say tubos can hold humidity for awhile when shut. i personally think tubos where made to hold humidity for a short period of travel and i dont think they breath as well as cello hence why i leave the caps off but that's just my my guess would be leaving the caps on extremely slowed down the aging process and depending what RH you store at they may start to be getting to dry

I store all my NC's at 65%. I am starting to think that I should just use the tubos for single carry when going out and not storage. I agree that the tubos may really slow down the resting of the sticks. Well, I think I have another experiment on my hands. I will take a couple out and check it in a month or 2 and try again and see how they compare.
