I like them for cigars that have no cello, but don't go out of my way to get them. The biggest issue for me has been finding a place where to buy them not by the pallet.

I like them for shipping non-cello sticks too. Provides the protection of the cello. Not too much moving around to destroy the wrapper.
As far as buying, I remember guys doing splits because if I remember right, they sell the in bundles of 50 or 100. They're not expensive but you'll have bags for quite a while unless you're bombing every day.
