But I get you - not seeing alot of love for the brand out there lately myself.
One that I notice, on a much smaller scale, is Black Label Trading Co Those seemed to be posting everywhere back in the poof days and I was even listing on MAW requests as I couldn't find them around me.
Viaje seems to have taken a big hit as well.
I started smoking Black Label when they first came out, even went to a cigar event they were at. Their stuff was really good and in my mind
even better than some of the well known names, I bought a few boxes. After they got going and became bigger, all I had was issues with
about every stick they made. No draw to wrappers blowing up. Haven't touched one since although I really liked what they were doing.

Viaje seems to have fallen off the radar, they were doing some really good stuff and I still have some sticks from about 5 years ago.
The Satori line was one I really liked.
Couple of things I've learned. I like good Bourbon and hate wet toilet paper.

Maybe it is just me but it seems like a year or two ago there was a lot of love for them here and at poof but I can't remember the last time I saw someone post up a pic of one in the "what did you smoke today" thread. I'm really tempted to get a few and see if they have gone to hell or just been forgotten. I guess when the NC industry seems to be largely driven by "What's New?!" Good cigars fall away just based on sheer volume of brands.

What are some other brands that you guys haven't seen in a while or used to love but haven't had in a long time?
Thank you for reminding me about Curivari, I need to go grab some now...

Just had a Last Rites the other night and it was crazy how plugged it was. An absolutely amazing cigar, but the draw was quite literally making my mouth feel fatigued.

I just thought it was the cigar being fairly fresh from my B&M. I had the same problem with a Last Rites recently.

@lvfcrook1503 @Demuths1770 @Horseshoe are you surprised Collin had yet another plugged cigar?

You can't listen to what @04EDGE40 says about anything. He must store his cigars outside, in the bushes or something because he's always whining about this cigar being plugged or that cigar not burning right. Not sure he has ever smoked a cigar he has stored and it has been "well made".

How could he ever smoke a "well made" cigar, When Sir Dog Rockets who can smoke a well made cigar, understood that His Excellency defines thus decrees: "Only a Gurkha shall be considered to be well Made." And His Excellency has every last one of the Gurkhas ever made.
Don't be deceived by advertised sales of Gurkhas.....those are all counterfeit, mere Opus , etc.

The cigar probably notices the Deep V Neck shirts and says F*** this guy.

After all of the hospitality and fun times that I provided these men, it's amazing the way they treat me!

For the record, I store my cigars at 65% and anywhere from 62-68* in beautiful cedar drawers and trays. Ask @Horseshoe , it is simply a curse that I must always work twice as hard as anyone else to enjoy a cigar. But it shows my resolve and determination. And my v-necks show just enough skin to keep female and male alike intrigued. Also ask Brent about that one.

I think one of the biggest issues with Viaje and BLTC is that prices kept going up because "they're all small batch releases" but they've yet to really hit one out of the park and justify the cost. Zombie was solid and Morphine Lancero was good, but they've yet to produce that stick that is both Unique and extremely good! Caldwell falls into this category as well. Long live the king and king is dead are ok. However, they started into these "Limited" Lost and Found releases and started bumping all their prices and for the most part, they all suck! People love to pay for hype but at some point your product is going to have to live up to that hype. If it doesn't, you're not going to make it.

The other thing is variety. If you really want to be big in this industry you have to have something for everyone. That's why DE and Tat got so big. That's why My Father is still doing well. While I've never had a bad stick from BLTC, everything tastes similar IMO, so unless that particular taste is your favorite, you find other smokes. Same with Viaje. Everything I've had from them has been really heavy on that Charred Wood Flavor, which for me just doesn't do it. At an average of $12+ per stick I just avoid them now.
