Right up there with Cameroon. Mark nailed the biggest mistake/ misconception people make (self included) is that their cigar is too dry, so it cracked. But adding rH is sure way to guarantee a split as you smoke it.
Try dry boxing for a day or two next time and see if you experience improves.
Bottom line is its a fragile wrapper by nature, so you're behind the 8 ball to start.
