its going to be baby blue lights, and the coffee aroma will be gone in a couple of weeks just to much cedar, I put a cheap cigar in it when I got it and by the next day that cigar was just horrible to smoke, but waste not...I smoked that cigar to the end...at the rate I smoke those cigars have a life of about 9 days...

Makes me wonder if the cedar used was regular not Spanish cedar, that sounds pretty overpowering.
I like the idea of the lights
Good luck with the project!

I have to ask... do you think the cigar might have been horrible because it was a cheap cigar or not properly rested? One day in a humidor ruining a cigar just sounds a bit farfetched.

Na it was that cedar, someone mentioned that maybe it wasnt spanish yesterday so I check some Spanish against the humidor and it doesnt look like the Spanish cedar, you know when you buy cheap, you get what you buy...its doing nice since I did the Colombian coffee and vanilla in it, I'll use Spanish cedar when I build the box trays. but I sure do like looking at that box and with the lights it should look great..

some of you guys take this cigar thing a lot more serious than I do and it is from you I hope to get more info...I just smoke cigars, about 5 a day, so I buy 4-5 $19.00 bundles a month and now Im also buying samplers to expand my variables...since I smoke them as fast as I get them filling this box is going to take a while, but that is my tickle not yours...I just hoped to maybe do some swapping and trading...

I'd do some swappin / tradin with ya. I know you go through them like crap through a bull goose, but do you have a preferred brand, strength, etc. I'm AARP qualified, but started cigar smoking just a while back. I've collected a fair amount that range all over the place....strength, size, you name it. We could do a 5 or 10 count "what the hell, anything goes" blind swap just for grins. You don't like what you get....I'll fix it. I don't like what I get....I'll send em to my buddy Jaybird as a long distance kick in the nuts. Mortgages are serious, cigars are fun.
