Image Hosting

The worst part is that it looks like all of the old threads with useful photos are affected by this. On the way to get them back is either rehost elsewhere, and change the link, or else pay the photo bucket extortion!

I don't mind them charging, but don't like that previously hosted as free photos changed. I guess "we should have known" as nothing's really free

Just in need of clarification when posting pics, as this is the first forum I've been part of:

1. If I delete an attachment to free space, I'm assuming the thread's picture will be deleted as well. Is this correct?

2. Are the above image hosting websites what everyone is using to post pics to circumvent the storage allotment?

I have been using imgur, I know some people use tapatalk and post through there. @Oldsmoky gets @WNYTONY to post them for him 😆. are you posting from a pc or a phone/tablet? That may make some options easier than others.

I use Postimage.org, simple and works well, even on a mobile browser.

That is correct. All you have to do is host the pic somewhere else and when you post, click the "Insert Image" then click from "From URL" paste the URL and uncheck the "retrieve file" box.
