Padilla Habanos

It seems that Padilla gets little to no love, based on the daily smokes thread cigars posted, and when I asked about the Fumas Habano (which I mentioned in the beginning of the thread since i bought some to try and have smoked them all), since I've only had a couple Padilla's, and it was about 10 years ago, i was graciously gifted a few different ones to try, namely the Artemis Toro, Rothschild Sumatra and Series '68 Golden Bear, and really enjoyed them all.

Based on this thread they do seem to have a small following at least, and i certainly enjoyed mine, with the Artemis being the Standout of the bunch. Will definitely buy some of the Artemis next time I'm building an order, and will try some of the others mentioned in this thread also, as couple were mentioned by more than 1 person, and got good praise.

It's not just Padillas, many other cigars fall behind the times. The American cigar market tends to favor the newest and latest, but I've always wondered if they're any better than the older stuff. For instance, the old Perdomo Habano Maduro was INCREDIBLE. Unfortunately it was discontinued and replaced with the Bourbon aged Maduro, which I don't care for at all!

It's funny how some cigars become staples, like the Vintage 1990 or the Undercrown. While others just disappear, like the Padilla Habano or remember Pinolero from AJ - never tried it, but I'm sure it wasn't bad.

The original Pinolero was an awesome somke!! Remember them from when I started smoking seriously in 2012 (ish).
I think the most recent iteration was a little different blend. But it was still good.
