Padron natural and maduro are all made the same - the only difference is in the sorting after rolling. The darker wrappers are put in maduro boxes and the lighter in natural. That said - they do have a different taste to me and I lean toward natural.
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

Thats extremely interesting. So, not really "true" Maduros then. Wonder how many other makers do this, at least with certain lines?
I have definitely noticed some Maduros having noticably more flavor and darkness to the wrapper color to them than others, which leads me to believe that this may not be a practice isolated to Padron.
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, had it not been for the majority who chimed in for the Maduro, it would have made my decision very simple, even though you do state that the taste is different even not being true Maduros.
For those that recommended the Maduro, assuming you have also had the Natural, how noticeable is the difference?

Based on WNYTONY's info, I would expect it to be pretty subtle, but noticeable as I discovered the same phenomenon with QDO50's. The darker the wrapper, the richer the flavor was, so i always requested the vendor choose the box with the darkest wrappers, of the boxes the had open already (and somewhat to my surprise, i think they took the time to do so as i always got nice dark wrappers once i started requesting this.)
I friggin love cigars

From what I remember, it is quite noticable, though I've only had both in the Londres vitola, but would expect the same from all sizes. Highly recommend the Londres.

Interesting its so noticable not being made in the typical Maduro fashion.
I have had a couple of the londres, and thought they were excellent. Kinda forgot about them while shopping. May have to do some price comparison now and possibly switch gears.
