I think the x000 series is hard to beat for the price. I too like the naturals very much but I can't say I dislike the maduros. Padrons higher end offerings are good as well. I can't say I have ever had a bad Padron, but at that price I tend to lean towards other things.

I think the price is my biggest aversion to them. I tend to sample new smokes from local sources and around here even the x000 series is priced pretty high. There just always seems to be other things in that price range I want to try more, so I put them off till later.

That is surprising. Online the 2000s are $4.85 (at cigarplace.biz) and at my local B&M they're only $1 more. That's pretty darn good. Usually you see much more than a buck a stick markup.
Maybe it's because they buy and sell so many they get a better price wholesale, I don't know.
Check out my Youtube channel, Razorback Piper Guy if you like that sort of thing.

I blame it entirely on that specific shop. They have some pretty screwy pricing going on. Some are close to double online prices, others are almost at online pricing. They just happen to be the only shop in my area with Padrons.
