Jumpin’ Railcars and Collectin' Cans
I was thinking about this awhile back and talked with the wife about it and told her she should sell them off to use the funds to help. I have no one close to me that smokes to pass them off to. Now the hard part is figuring out how to give her instructions and who to have help her if that ever comes to fruition. Great thread Tony.

Thanks for all the thoughts on this guys and gals.
Gotta say I don't have kids or other family that are really into cigars so I am really liking those "divide them up and bomb all you Bums" answers LOL
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

Having served as the executor of my late parents' estates which took almost two years to sort out due to severe lack of documentation and organization of their papers, we vowed not to do that to our kids. We have wills and trusts set up, but more importantly I created a spreadsheet listing all of our accounts and investments, another listing all of the many passwords we use for various accounts and web sites, and finally a long letter describing all of our trusts, people to contact on our death, the names of our attorney and accountant, and how to dispose of our various non financial assets. In that document I have specified how to divide my cigar stash among my smoking buddies. I did invite my son to smoke a few in my memory, though, even though he is a non smoker. I'm sure he'll have a least one.
So, beyond cigars, do your heirs a favor and leave behind some good instructions. That said, smoke 'em while you still can.

Bummin' Around
I probably have enough cigars and alcohol to last me this lifetime and continue to build up the bunker with more purchases. Like most everything that I collect, the tobacco and alcohol will be sorted out to various family members and close friends. My hopes would be that they would enjoy these items as I have, but if needed or wanted to sell them to fund other pursuits, I'll be gone so it won't bother me a bit.

Wife would probably give them away, or throw them out as she hates the hobby. If i ever get to the point of having the stash you guys do I'll put a plan together to sell off for kids college money.

It's hard to have a plan when I don't have a clue!

Or I could go out enjoying the last of the stash researching and answering Usafvet509's poll. I imagine if I tried lighting one up doing the deed, the wife would make sure it's my last...
