I work outside a lot in the summer, often in 90+ degree weather. Often wearing a shirt and tie. My beard in the summer becomes what some may know as a sweat rag

I keep the bit around my mouth at least.

sorry had to lol. i used to work outside (most of the time inside with no ac) all the time i a shirt jeans steel toe boot and kept my beard lol
