I've never tried them, but I'd like to. There's a cigar shop that opened recently a couple of miles from my house, called Culebra Cigars. I checked them out for the first time yesterday. Will definitely return, BTW. I teased the owner about not having any culebras in the humidor. He said he's working on a house blend culebra, so I'm looking forward to that. Sounds like he plans on three different wrappers.

Also, there is a culebra not mentionable in this forum that is surprisingly less outrageously priced than other offerings from the same party gas company. I have seriously thought about giving it a try.

And of course I'm with SoCalGunner - I'd share a culebra with Tombstone (and TJ) any time
    Insert witty comment here ...

    I think it's who's smoking it.
A newbie smoking a large ring, is probably posturing! Thinking bigger is better. And there are a LOT of posers smoking cigars now of days!
But I have to admit that I enjoy a nub or an ep Carrillo inch every now and then.
IMO, it takes a seasoned smoker to enjoy the thinner cigar.

No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

I have smoked a few culebra cigars and have yet to be disappointed. The Old man and The C is a good one. I know you bums share one with me.

I got 1 Culebra but most manufacturers seem to avoid.

When I first seriously got in to cigars I traded a vintage 70’s Sansui receiver to a professor in CA that had quit smoking cigars and was looking to do a trade on a home audio forum I was active on. He told me all of the cigars were from 5-12 years old and well maintained. There were around 135 cigars and the culebra wood coffin had 2 of the 3 inside. That was in 2012. I can’t remember if I smoked one or bombed it. Anyway, I still have 1 of the 3 left. I think it is at least 17 years old by now.
Enjoy and care for your parents, once they are gone you become an orphan!
