I picked up one of those propane heat lamps having seen one in your (I believe) earlier posts. Sent it back - too loud and impossible to light and keep lit. Does yours work okay?

Yes, I am AuburnGuy. I don't think it is loud at all. I have one, and @DogRockets has 2 now because of me. They are louder on a fresh tank, but once it is used for a little bit it isn't loud at all. I don't even hear it or notice it. You may have gotten a dud. I use them on job sites most every day and I have never had issues with them staying lit if there is fuel. I have converted many people to them. Sorry, you didn't like it.

Yeah I can say the two that I have are fantastic and have been a gamechanger for my winter cigar smoking. I would say the noise level is actually barely noticable. I either listen to Pandora or am reading when I'm outside and don't notice the noise at all.

I use a Mr. Heater that I got on Amazon. It lights easy and never goes out. A godsend in the winter here.
