red plum ale that didn't quite turn out as plum-like and red as I was hoping (had issues that watered it down a bit) after mowing the grass before it rains again.

Usually they are OK. I've only had one I dumped as I let the mash temp get away from me and created a sickly sweet oatmeal stout. The one major issue I've had seems to be oxidation from time to time. Those start out fine but end up with a bit of a weird twang.

This one isn't bad, though it's just not what I was after. But then when you change up your equipment or methods you have to assume challenges may come. Learning lessons for sure!

As it is this one is just a unique beer. Still good.
