    What variety of milkweed do you grow? I’ve noticed that the Monarchs prefer certain species over others.

    Villiger NicaRoma Gordo Maduro

    Very tasty and great draw and smoke volume being a 60rg.

    Construction was great other than a little peeling during the last third, and burn got away from me in the final 3rd too.

    Overall, a very good smoke.

    Gives me hope for the Villiger Selecto Maduro Toro bundle i picked up to try.

    I’ve got some Rose, Common, and Swamp. Tried raising some monarch caterpillars off of the butterfly milk weed and they weren’t fans. Just read an article the other day that says you should only plant native milkweed plants so they bloom when they are supposed to in order to aid their migration. Only the swamp is native here but it also blooms all year so I figured it would be fine to grow the non native ones as well.
