It's been bad everywhere, no rain here at all either. The last 2 days we were in the mid to upper 80's for our highs, but compared to last week that's a serious cool off. Not one to wish my life away, but can't wait for fall, me and heat don't mix well.

Yessir, I'm a fall and spring guy. I'll take the winter to hunt, but fall is the berries for me.....

Early Wednesday Morning Smoke. Vegas Cubanas Corona ~ by My Fahter Cigars....5.5x44.
Second one from the box. Seems the short "rest" was what the cigar needed. Not as smooth as the "old" Vegas Cubanas I liked so much.
But...10% - 15% better, much less harsh that the first one smoked. First quarter of an inch is the fullest,
maybe these were cellophaned too soon,too wet because deliveries to retailers were later than promised.
Notice that the Band is very tight, once band 's removed this area is smaller in diameter than the rest of the cigar's length body.
.Retrohale kind of harsh, now this's something that I do not like.
Still, just not going to give up on Don Pepin Garcia,yet.......more in the box to burn. Fingers crossed, hope still alive.

Burn time, One Hour Twenty Eight Minutes.

Prolly should give Dem ten twelve hours rest. Have you turned Russian.... I mean rushing.....

Round about Noon Today. Crowned Heads Jericho Hill12 Honest Men Limited Edition Lancero...7.5x38. This made "by My Father" Lancer after being cut , lit easily and right from the first puff the open draw produced a lot of smoke. Another couple of puffs and I'm thinking I should have snagged more maybe 2 or 3 more boxes. Half inch into and the retrohale is fine. The Dozen Deluded Dudes Lancero is one heck of a good smoking cigar for not a lot of money.

Smoke time: an Hour and Fifty Eight Minutes.

Freekin' gorgous weather here right now. About 20 degrees with the heat index cooler than it's been. Looks like we'll get seven to ten days break from the normal oven in August. Picking vegetables and puffing on a Ramon Bueso Genesis Project Robusto....

Return of a Favourite Ciga,r Round Three. Vegas Cubanas Corona ~ By: My Father...5.5x44. Best of the trio smoked so far,harshness when smoking first two has faded to about half of what it was with the first one, still a long ways to go if these are going match the originals.

Burn Time. One Hour and Forty Minutes. * think the Lancero smoked earlier s;owed my puffing down to get this longer time with a Corona.
