...I've tried multiple punches and guillotines but it still cracks every time! But they are so darn good!

Hold it in your mouth for a bit to soften the cap (insert oral sex joke here) and then run around the cap with a single edge razor blade; just run the blade around the OD and peel off the cap, don't try to saw thru the whole thing. Works for me on fragile wrappers every time - it's even more foolproof than using the belt sander
