Wrapper: Dominican Habano
Binder: Havana Vuelta Abajo
Fillers: Dominican, Peruvian

The wrapper has an unmistakable sweetness, like molasses and honey. It even feels sugary on my lips. Reportedly from a natural fermentation process.

Very spicy. I can still taste molasses on the burn, but without the sweetness, almost like burnt sugar. Tangy fruit. There are some smoked meat flavors, saltiness, char. Met with some astringency in the middle third. Floral / herbal, sage, menthol. Astringency fades leading into final third. Oak and hickory. Musty. Milk chocolate. Continued peppery spiciness.

Clean burn to the end, but drops the ash about every 1/2 to 3/4 inch.

I wouldn’t rate this as a favorite, but very enjoyable for its complexity. There is a lot going on here.
