Yesterday we apparently broke our heat index record. You know what we were doing yesterday- from 12 - 2:30 in the afternoon?? Moving 3 alligators back and forth to a separate enclosure. We chose the hottest part of the hottest day on record to wrestle with 150 lbs of angry muscle. We are idiots.

And we got MAD at our bodies for fainting and puking. We were trying to push and get another one moved before I left for the day. We can no longer stand nor walk, maybe now isn’t the best time to catch an alligator?!

The one in the photo yes, that is my baby boy Albert, he is only about 6 feet long. I can do up to a 6-7 foot gator by myself, but the bigger guys we do in 2 person teams. And yes I did jump on his back but I used sweet soothing words and gave him kisses once I got him taped.
