Bad news is that I was let go today. Nothing I did, just downsizing.
Good news is that I have all my "kid's" gifts, and everything is going out as scheduled! So, I'm thankful for that!
If you are of the persuasion, any prayers for a new job are most appreciated. We will be fine through Christmas; as we have all of our Christmas funds already set aside and income to cover everything sometime into January. But it would be nice to not feel too much of a financial pinch before the new job is secured.
Thank the Lord for His provision and guidance to future endeavors!
Yes sir, Bryan. Prayers are being sent from here and with wishes that 2019 brings great new opportunities for you and your family.
Sorry to hear about that, never understand how anyone can do that to someone so close to the holidays. Hope you find something soon.
Planning on shipping my kid's gift out Wednesday. Really hoping that getting it in the mail now, the Canada post strike isn't going to cause too much of a delay.

"If we never did anything we shouldn't, we'd never feel good about the things we should."
"I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days, before you've actually left them."
@BryGuySC
That SUCKS big time!
I will be praying that you find something quick. Bigger & better to come.
To paraphrase an old cliche, when God closes one door he opens another!
And hopefully the next door that he opens for you will reveal greener pastures! And hopefully he opens that door for you very soon.
Man, I know what it's like to go to work and be told you don't have a job.
It took a while to bounce back, but I'm better off for it now. I would have never gone back to school if it wouldn't have happened.
Hang in there bro. Tough times don't last. Tough people do.
