Yet another finish I am a big fan of is the Castello Sea Rock texture. Looks best in a natural finish, IMO. Here is a nice looking billiard.

I love the wood grain on these Peterson Shannon series pipes.
They're not expensive either. You can get them at P&C for under a hundred bucks.

and see how it does naturally.
The previous pipes I have posted are admittedly well out of my price range and are nice to fantasize about. I have a bit of an itch for a Canadian shaped pipe. In my mind they are like the lancero of the pipe world. Elegant but not necessarily feminine. In my limited experience, I have found that I get superior smoking qualities from pipes that have longer stummels and shorter stems. The Stanwell below is more modestly priced than my other entries, so it just might make it into my rotation one of these days.

I like the look of this Barling, long shank and short stem. A lot like the Stanwell Tim posted.

Always like the beefy look of the Peterson 80s shape. Keeping with the reasonably priced theme, I wouldn't mind this one.

That is for sale at Smokingpipes.com.
New Tobacco Pipes: Savinelli Spigot Sterling Bordeaux (207) (6mm) at Smokingpipes.com
I agree, that Savinelli is a damn fine piece of work....
This guy Joe Mariner makes some nice pipes. One of the estates that belonged to my dad was made by him. But what's really interesting to me is that he found a large collection of unused, unfinished European pipes brought home by soldiers after WWII. He finished them and now sells them. This is his tilted billiard selection. I like the third one down. Nice 2-tone effect on these.
