Pokers are very popular and I'd love to try one. This is a beautiful pipe, but I'm not sure about the silver dollar. It would be worth giving a chance.

This one just went up for sale. Jan Pietenpauw makes some very attractive and reasonably priced pipes.

More than likely I will never own something like this because even if I were wealthy I'm not sure I could bring myself to drop over a grand on a pipe.
But this Castello does make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Congrats @Nature ! I really enjoyed the pipe P0rn in this thread.
Congrats, Mark! Thank you Tobias and Bull. I am so glad this thread is over and I survived without making any purchases. Might have to reward myself with a new pipe.
Congrats Mark, and thanks to Bull and Tobias for the contest! Lots of good looking pipes to stare at on a rainy day.
Congrats to Nature. This was a fun one!
There should be a prize for most susceptible to PAD. I've already bought two of the five I posted since the contest started. I am not a well man, and now I know how to use eBay. Shivver.
Congratulations to the winner, @Nature . Fun to follow this contest and see the range of tastes the participants have in pipes.
Congrats @Nature ! Thanks for the contest Tobias and bull! I love looking at pictures of pipes.
Well folks, due to me being away from home for a while, I had Tobias hold off on shipping until my return.
I am glad I did as I didn't care to have the box sitting in that heat there was around the country last week.
Today it arrived!!

A special Thank You to Al @Bull for providing these wonderful prize tins of tobacco and to @Tobias Lutz for hosting the contests and arranging the shipping!!
Some of these the dates are obvious:
GLP Chelsea Morning - 5/11
Esoterica And so to bed - 9/11
Escudo Navy De Luxe - 12/10
the Virginia Woods has a code of 410308 stamped on the bottom. Not sure if this can be deciphered to a date or not? :ask:
the others do not have an obvious to me indication of age, but will sure to be enjoyed!
