    It was being sold as an estate. F. Sykes Wilford and gang came to Japan and brough a bunch of their pipes to sell. I wanna say it was about 500 dollars. It felt like a cat's tongue. Very intriguing feeling.

    I voted for a combination. I rarely go for smooth pipes, I prefer sandblast and rustication. BUT it depends on the blast or the rustication. This blast for example is what I desire:
    none of that lightly blasted crap where it looks like someone blew pixie dust on it. And as far as rustication goes I'm content with a variation of different finishes.

    I have other pipes but find it hard to smoke out of any of them but this Longchamp, it burns so nice.
