Every uppity lighter I've bought has been a pain in the a$$.......

Yeah, me too.

I've never bought a pipe lighter, but the torches I've bought have been terrible.
I'll fill them with butane and they'll work great for one or two cigars, then they'll spit and sputter and not stay lit.

I've purged them and I use the good Xikar triple filtered fuel and they still do the same thing.

Hell, I even light cigars with Bics half the time. I'd like to find a good one that would work, but for that much money, I'd rather just spend it on more cigars, pipes and pipe tobacco.
