Microwave for Drying Tobacco

I ruined a good flake last weekend microwaving it for 15 seconds. I waited for it to cool down and when I went to stuff it in my pipe it crumbled up too much. Tried to smoke it anyway and it didn't have any flavor. I guess I nuked it too long.

I guess patience pays off. I think it is dependent upon the individual microwave and the tobacco.

Mark, are you still into sampling Lakelands? Where are your tastes leading you?

I have tried the SG Grousemoor and yesterday Ennerdale for the first time. I did not find them offensive in the least. The Ennerdale was more mellow than I was expecting and I enjoyed them both! In my opinion, the Grousemoor had more of the perfumy/ Lakeland essences (as I understand them to be) than the E. I am looking forward to my next bowl of Ennerdale.
