IMHO, it's best to go with the chunkier, thicker bowls, like the Maple Hardwood Great Dane or Diplomat. I had what they now call the Ozark Mountain Hardwood pipe and it got too hot to hold it by the bowl regularly, so I got rid of it. Originally Posted by Lostmason
