Puffing Solani 127, Green Label, in my old Kirsten Mariner. I’m enjoying this tobacco more than any other aromatic that I can recall.

I've got nothing against aromatics per se, I just avoid them because so many of them suck.
However, there's nothing quite like a good aromatic when you find one that works for you.
...and unlike flavored cigars, you never have to suffer a 'sweetened cap'

I might have to try this one you speak highly of.

Speaking of cigars, I do believe I'll head toward that side this afternoon.
Failing that, I also have a jar of Happy Bogie calling my name for either chaw or smoke.

sweetened caps are the literal, absolute, worst thing I have ever come across.... worse than pumpkin beer, even...

About to light up my first bowl of GH #25 Mixture in a Comoy's Guildhall billiard. Drinking some iced tea that I made from an assortment of different tea bags that I had lying around in the kitchen cabinet - Earl Grey, Constant Comment, Mint, etc. Just trying to get rid of them, so I made some iced tea with them. It's not bad. Long day at work chained to my desk trying to get out five reports by the end of the day, which I did. I'd much rather work outside, which I do 50% of the time.

G&H best brown #2 in my oldest cob. life is pretty ok I guess. stupid strong tea on the side. sitting outside with a crossman trying to thin the herd of squirrels destroying the popcorn crop.

Started an early morning at 4:00 with a bowl of GH Kendal Flake in an Albert John apple.

Had a bowl of McClelland 2015 Virginia/Perique flake in a Savinelli Roma 114KS earlier.

Now enjoying a bowl of Dunhill Navy Rolls in my unfinished Savinelli Series III.

Working my way through about 8 different aromatic samples, trying to find something to mix together for a holiday smoke.
So far, all disappointing. I know I'm not an aromatic smoker, but I still try every once and a while. It always comes back to bite me (pun intended).
I'll post a short review of each, when I get through them.

I'll probably just going to open a nice virginia for the holidays.
