The Eggman
I taught my dog, Frankie, to open the refrigerator door…
What a day for basketball! I sat glued to the couch for twelve glorious hours, yesterday, lunch, dinner and snack remnants clinging to my “sweats”. If you didn’t enjoy these games, you either just “crawled out from under a rock” or you picked Iowa State to get to the Final Four…. My bracket is toast!!!!
But how about those games…
-Five decided by just 1 point… one overtime… two #3 teams falling to a #14 seed. Iowa State…out! Baylor…out! And Wofford, oh how you disappoint! For me it was the “thrill of the victory”, and there was no “agony of defeat”… just pure basketball…pure excitement!
But today’s another day, another twelve hours of “magic”…more games, more top seeds to fall, more brackets will crumble, more stains on my sweats. “Drinks are on the house boys”! “We don’t care”. “We got GAME”!!!
“It’s Madness baby! Are you kidding me”!!!!!!!!!
Settle in for the long ride, my friends, the tourney has just begun.
…“Frankie!!!!!!!!! ”Get me another beer!”

Don't think I have ever seen anything quite like it. Today hasn't quite matched up to what yesterday was. I mean what an opening! More than once I thought I might have to go to ER for a heart attack!
With that being said, today has been no slouch either!
I don't get how you can't love March Madness. Someone who hates March must just hate sports in general
