Good review Bryan! I've been smoking another McClelland aromatic called "McTruffle" that I got in the P&C pipe tobacco of the month club mailing for September. Like you, aromatics are not my blends of choice but I am determined to smoke it and give it a go. I've found the McClelland aromatics to be less goopy than many of them out there.

Dd you ever try that McTruffle? Been curious about it after reading the description.

I had some bowls and they were pleasant smokes. McClelland does aromatics right. You can taste the cocoa best by smoking slowly. Probably could have left off the Orientals on this one, just my preference.

It does sound like an odd combination, but appealing. I'll add an oz to my next order. Everything I've tried by McClelland so far has been worth smoking.
