Anyone got a special cigar for this eclipse thing? I am going to dig around the Humidors and see what jumps out at me.

I like the Ashton VSG Eclipse idea. We drove a few hours for the last one, mostly to get away from cloud cover that day. Pretty incredible, kinda eerie.
We went several hours early and traffic was heavier, but not bad. Took 2-3 times as long to get back as we got closer to the city. Plan accordingly.
Pics of the cool pinhole camera effect through tree leaves from the last eclipse

Are we still here?
The world didn’t end, suffer an alien invasion, or enter another realm, did it?
No earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions?
Any spiritual or ethereal experiences?
LOLS
Did observe some cool pinhole camera effects through the mesh of my deck chairs.

I only had to work a half day, so I went to my brother's house for a little family get together.
I didn't smoke anything with any theme, though that was a good idea.
I had a Padron 1964 while outside watching the heavenly festivities.
That’s cool that you live in the totality area Paul. We were 95% and while it was cool, it didn’t get overly dark. Which IMO is the coolest part. My cat attacked my dog out of the blue, which he never does. Cat is 25lbs, so he can do damage, but smartly the dog ran away.
I remember from the one in 2017. As it began to get dark, all the birds stopped singing and flying about. Was weird!

Wife and I left a little too late and ended up turning around and watched from home. The traffic was too crazy. I was a little bummed so i decided to slay a Unicorn while enjoying what we could see from home…

This is not my photo, but was taken by a friend of a friend just a few miles from where I live.

Quite amazing, really.
The sun’s diameter is 400 times the diameter of the moon, and the moon “happens” to be 400 times closer to earth so that the apparent sizes are nearly identical, allowing for our eclipse.
A near impossible probability.
Coincidence? I think not.

I got off my hearing just in time to catch the apex with 95.9 % coverage.
Might have had one of those also...
Bit a crackpot, nonetheless. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c0bdfb21be.jpg
