So I have this little no name pipe that's really nice looking and smokes pretty well. Problem is I'm afraid to smoke it much because there's a crack in the shank. I know there's several pipe repair places but is this something that can be repaired?

the only real "repair" for cracks like that are to have a tight band or cap put on the end of the shank. Most can cover the crack completely but your's looks a bit longer.
I'd send that pic via email to a repair place and have them give you an estimate.

Got a reply from Kenneth at Norwood pipe repair! He said a band would fix it nicely and only cost $18 plus shipping! Awesome!
Ken is the best there is IMHO.
If you ship on Monday, chances are you will have your pipe back on Friday.
I have three or four other pipes in need of repair. I think I'm going to send one every month. Get them all up in rotation again.

For another hillbilly repair you could trim it down and press an empty pistol casing over it or cut a band from a rifle cartridge. @Tobias Lutz tried this back at the other place though and it didn't turn out so well :( For a 100% hillbilly repair you can wrap something like that very tightly with copper wire - or better yet music wire, then cover it with clear acrylic (read: clear nail polish)
