Just thought I'd be a nice bum and pass along this great deal.
I would buy it myself, but my Christian parents taught me to prefer my brothers and sisters and to not be selfish. ;)

Somebody is going to be very disappointed.
That's a hoot. The photo clearly shows the Dr. Grabow markings on it. Somebody is going to be upset if they buy it.
Dunhill makes Dr Grabow pipes? No wonder the Doctor is such a great pipe for the money! :p
That pipe is at $56 now, more than a Dr G goes for new :D
Gotta love those jagoffs who list something under a brand name with another brand name of cheaper value. Kinda like selling a VW and then calling it a Porsche.
He has 100% positive feedback.
I wonder if that will be the case after this auction is over.
The user name looks female to me. Probably some woman who picked up the pipe in the Dunhill box and doesn't have a warm clue. Can't say the same for the idiots who've bid the thing up to $56 bucks though, don't they even LOOK at the pictures ?!? Maybe the right thing to do would be to send a message saying something like 'eh... that's a Dr Grabow pipe and it's only worth $35 new. You're going to piss someone off bigtime with this sale'
Not to mention that it was USED....geeeez!
If we're lucky, next month will be a Dunhill listed as a DG.
It sold for $57 and the seller does not accept returns. I'd like to be a fly on the wall when he opens the package.
The guy who bought it could have actually used the $57 to buy a real pipe.
^ That is true.
Savinellis do smoke good. The first one I got from a garage sale back in the 80's was a Deluxe bulldog with some ugly fills. But it smoked better than any of the pipes I had at the time. The only one that I had a problem with was one of their "Dry System" pipes that are patterned after the Peterson System pipes. I had problems with that Sav; it didn't draw good and tended to gurgle and it wouldn't pass a pipe cleaner. I got rid of that one.
I have been hesitant to buy any of the "system" pipes. I have been on a ebay spree of late and have saw a few Peterson systems that looked very nice at decent prices.
But I'm just a little old fashioned. It seems like a perfect solution to a non-existent problem to me.
Don't like the 'system'. Can't pass a pipe cleaner no way no how, so if you get a plugged draugh hole, you're screwed. PIA to clean too; can't just run a pipe cleaner thru the stem for a quickie cleanout, no you have to take it apart every time and swab the gunk out of it. Also don't like that p-lip thing. If I ever buy a Pete, it will be one of the silver spigots with a fishtail bit and it won't be a 'system' pipe.
Well, it looks like the buyer came to his senses before paying for it. It is now re-listed and correctly identified. lol
I got an email saying an item I was watching has been re-listed.
If anyone has a vintage Dunhill pipe and no box, this may be an inexpensive way to get one.
Dr.Grabow pipe & Dunhill Root Briar box | eBay
Somebody still bought it at $30!
I guess if you really needed the box and wanted a Grabow, that could be worth it?
Shucks! I was late to the party and missed this bad boy :(
I'll have to pay more attention in footure.

(new seller but not the best way to start out on eBay)
