I think last year there was such a rush that it crashed their system for a half hour or so before you could place your final order. YES a LOT of people like freebees too.

I concur about people throwing tantrums. I'll be honest, I only ordered to get the goodie box. I certainly don't need anything, but I imagine the days of being able to celebrate ISPD with online specials will go away in a couple years, so I find it fun to participate while I can. At the end of the day though, it's just a sale guys, calm down.
