Here a goofy question. With spring just around the corner, are there sticks that taste better outdoors than in?Or vice versa?I'm lucky in that I don't have to go outside to smoke,so I'm wondering if there is a difference in the enviroment where you smoke.

Have never noticed a difference in flavors indoors or out. However, I usually don't critically taste a new cigar at a lounge cause there are so many other variables at play with other smokers around. I will say that my wife picks up much more smoke on me when I smoke inside versus outside.

Taste is interwined in a complex manner with smell. Being outdoors brings its own scent from the environment, so yeah I could see an impact on taste as a result.

Generally, I just find having a cigar outside to be far more preferable than indoors, just because it's nice to be outside and relaxing, enjoying the day. That boosts my mood and I can see that impacting the overall experience of the cigar.

I couldn't agree more. I'm beginning to have dreams of relaxing on the deck with a beer, a stogie, and some tunes in the sunshine. C'mon Spring!

There's a pseudo difference to me. I reserve my best cigars for the warmer months when I can relax without exposure to the cold and frequent indoor conversation. The more relaxed and focused I am, the better the taste.
