Not to derail this thread, but do all of you actually smoke cigars while doing yard work? I've never found that enjoyable, regardless of the quality of the cigar. I understand that's not the point of the thread, just curious.

I do while blowing leaves(I use a commercial backpack blower), and I would if I used a riding mower.

I do. Mowing 5 acres on a riding lawn mower is a good few hours of smoke time. Now physical yard work, no. The cigar always goes out or I find myself puffing non stop.

Mr. Simpson, don't you worry. I saw an episode of Matlock in a bar last night. The sound was down, but I think I got the gist of it.

I do when I mow, but not doing any other yard work. The only thing propelling my mower is my legs. It takes a couple of hours, and I'm always in need of a shower afterwards anyway - so it's perfect smoking time for me. The yard isn't flat, and has quite a few trees to work around, but I make it work. I smoke cheap, mild to medium bigger sticks - toros, belicosos, gordos. Typically 5 Vegas, La Perla Habana, CAO - that type of stuff.

I will smoke while riding the mower hell yeah. Churchill size nica libre is great as it stays lit and stands up well flavor-wise against the dirt/dust/grass of mowing.

Heck, yeah. What better excuse to walk around the yard smoking a stogie? "Hey, honey, I gotta go do some things in the yard", I say. We both now know a cigar will be involved but I get away with it just the same. Hey, wait a minute, you think maybe she Likes me being out of the house? Nah, couldn't be.

Meanwhile, Bruck's list of good cheapies:
Cabo Classic
Gurkha Park Avenue
Nica Libre
5 Vegas Gold
Schizo
Bahia Red
Bahia Blue
John Bull
Graycliff G2
5 Vegas classic
Buenaventura
Bahia Trinidad
My definition of a cheapie: I can get it on Cbid or CI consistently for under $2 a stick. I've been picking up 5ers there for $4 & $5 lately.
If you expand the definition to under $3 a stick on cbid, well, now we're talking about nearly every stick in my collection!
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

Yes.
I do tend to drool a bit and get occasional blast of smoke up the nose, but yes
