Just to clarify, it unscrews. My understanding is that the Adjustomatic will let you continue to twist the stem clockwise to line it up correctly. This one doesn't budge.

Got this Legion of Honor Commander billiard for $17 on the bay site. It's shaped just like a Dunhill LB and doesn't have any fills that I can see. Legion of Honor is a Mastercraft brand and were made in the USA.

Bo Nordh pipes sell in the tens of thousands of dollars because they're traded as art, not smoking instruments. Some pipes sell as collectibles and can retain or appreciate in value even if smoked.
This seller just put a $4,000 tag on a $50 pipe. David (@Droy1958) proved that and got a good value and story.
Does price guarantee a better smoking pipe? No, impossible to tell without smoking it (and results differ between smokers), but a technically well crafted pipe, made by hand (and there are reasons for this), that uses the best briar, is the best candidate to be a superior smoker.
