Smoking dry all of a sudden, WTH?

So I've never been able to smoke a bowl right to the bottom because the last little bit always ended up swampy wet no matter what. Now all of a sudden, and for no apparent reason, the last 4 bowls have been dry all the way down. When it wouldn't take a relight it was because there was nothing but ash left. I haven't changed anything. All I can figure is that it's finally warm and dry out so the briar is not perpetually cold. Don't know exactly why but I'm liking it.

I have noticed it don't sound like I'm smoking a water pipe the last few days. but there is a low pressure system coming in today so that might change tonight
