    Yep, in my experience, you have to try pretty hard to get a cob to smoke wet. You'll fry your tongue/mouth making a cob smoke wet.

    I'd say a good chunk of it is tobacco moisture and packing, but even more of it is technique. Once you get your cadence down, a lot of the moisture issues disappear.
