Gone too long

Ok so not sure what happened or when, but fell out of habit checking in. I know I slowed down on smoking February or March of this year, nothing health related but we had a trip planned to the house of mouse. So I decided I needed to be able to keep up with my daughter and not slow her down. I was off and on working out twice a day low impact exercise bike stuff. Then had a brief cold or something (didn't eat for a weekend) so with working out and eating less i have lost 30lbs. We did disney in may then came back and did some football stuff 7on7 and even a localhigh school all star game. Then did my annual guys trip (my cigar in take kicked up then). Football training started, the daughters birthday and 4th of july. Now we are 2 weeks away from school and another season. All the while trying to keep up with my yard. That's where I was sorry I didn't check in more.

What are some of the new rules being implemented in football this year?

Well for me it's different than in Cali. Texas is the only state that uses mostly NCAA rules. 49 other states use federation rules NFHS?

For us those timing rule changes college adopted last year we will add this year. More emphasis on def pre snap movement and some slight changes on when it is considered a kicking formation.

Glad to see you back, Josh. I think the past year or so has been a bitch for a lot of people and it's gone by quickly. I was listening to XM radio and host said something about holiday season being two months away and we're already seeing Halloween stuff (just saw it today at Target) hitting the shelves, and yet we're only mid-way through summer - and I thought "holy shit, she's right".

That's interesting to hear about high school sports in Texas and the rules falling under NCAA. I'm going to have to look into that now that I have a HS'er, because it's all been pretty much NFHS for 8th and under, so I figured it'd remain throughout HS.

When i started over 9years ago it was us and 1 other state using NCAA rules lits been just us for over 5 years now. I watch videos online and some of their rules just baffled me.
