Ancient Chinese secret - some of the binder and filler leaves have enough unblemished lamina to use for wrappers for the smaller robustos. I don't normally do this though, as Larry's CT broad is so cheap, something like $12 or $14 a pound.
I love piloto! It pairs really well with brazilian mata fina. The mata fina has that bitterness to it and the piloto turns it right into cream. It royally sucks they won't be carrying it anymore.
I get pretty creative in finding a decent bit of wrapper in a leaf. I roll a lot of PCs and coronas which also helps a lot. It also makes the leaf go a bit further since I can get 4-6 sticks out of one full wrapper leaf compared to 2 rollin bigger vitolas.
