How far do you smoke your cigar?

Depends on how it's smoking I guess. Seems most cigars I've smoked get nasty or don't want to stay lit anymore when they're about 1 1/2" long. When a cigar refuses to play nice I'm done with it. I'm not going to kill myself just to say that I've smoked it to the cap. Once in a while a cigar will stay good and tasty all the way down to the nub - those I'll smoke till they start burning my lips but that is rather rare.

I would agree here as well. I never have a plan of how far to smoke it, I try and let it tell me when it's done.
