No cigar is worth more than $8 based on materials and work involved (with very few exceptions), the rest is all marketing and consumer added value. Having said that, if the consumer enjoys a cigar that he/she added $10 of value to just because it's rare, or it's old, or it's made by this guy/girl I like, then they also added to their enjoyment of that particular cigar. I for once don't like to buy expensive cigars because I get in the mindset of only lighting it when conditions are perfect. This is a problem because whenever you think those perfect conditions arise (and you light those expensive sticks up) that's when all seems to go down the drain quick.
