Those cigars are dry and ruined because of the guy who sold them to you didn't properly care for them. It's his fault... why aren't you going after him for a refund? I don't think it's a very honest act to try to weasel new cigars out of DE when they are clearly not at fault.
Sorry if it came off that way. but I am not trying to weasel anything... If DE didn't want to honor something, Why would they have a claim form for just this type of problem? I have discussed it with the BOTL that I got them from and he is willing to refund, because His DE rep said that we should go this way with it first and see what they said. either way no one is getting screwed because the same rep even said he would handle it if they didn't through customer service.
So i don't see how I, or anyone involved is Trying to "weasel" anything out of anyone.
